In February, 160 Christian leaders representing 120 mission movements in 60 countries gathered in Krakow. The aim was to prepare for the 2000th anniversary of Jesus' Resurrection. Founder of JC2033, Olivier Fleury was encouraged by the unity experienced among denominations. He was also encouraged by the fact that more and more Christian organizations are focusing on the year 2033.

Generosity of heart, zeal for the mission and brotherly love are the words that come to mind after this beautiful trip to South Korea. The three largest cities, Seoul, Incheon and Busan, with a total population of 16.6 million, have today received the torch of 2033.

A name: "Jesus Christ 2033", JC2033 in short. A logo: the tomb and the rolled stone representing the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. A movement: celebrating 2000 anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This visit had three aims: to inform the officials about some JC2033 developments, to reflect on how the road to 2033 can continue in Egypt, and, finally, to introduce Michaël Arteen, our new Middle East coordinator, himself Egyptian.
