Running so that the world knows

Joy and gratitude were the mood on the course of this first “Course de la Cathé”. A surge of faith and the prospect of inviting JC2033 ambassadors from underprivileged countries to Switzerland motivated the troops.

On Sunday, October 27, eleven women and fourteen men gathered in front of Lausanne Cathedral. Wearing their sturdiest sneakers, the participants outdid themselves running and walking a total of 132 km.

The aim of this Race for the Nations was to raise funds to help JC2033 ambassadors cover their expenses for the World Meeting in Geneva in February, 2025. It's essential for each and every JC2033 representative to be able to connect, be trained and equipped to spread the vision in his or her country, but the economic reality in some parts of the world doesn't allow for such expenditures.

Supporting twenty ambassadors

Ranging in age from 7 to 78, our champions of the day raised enough money to subsidize the visit of twenty ambassadors from underprivileged countries!

This first edition of the Course de la Cathé was a time of joy and sharing that exceeded all expectations. Runners left with the beginnings of aches and pains, and the feeling that they had run for THE good news: that by 2033, the world will know that Jesus has Risen!

Meet the JC2033 ambassadors in Geneva in February 2025!
